“Last year we brought you a rock star [Bono], but this year we brought you a real rock star,” said Bank of America CEO Brian Moynihan. Berkshire Hathaway Chairman and CEO Warren Buffett certainly lived up to the description during the conversation, which ranged from his thoughts on philanthropy and The Giving Pledge to inequality and the role of government. He shared his strategy for selecting investments with the crowd. Things even got personal as he explained the formative effect the Great Depression had on his family and his work ethic.
