On September 26, 2017, the Global Social Enterprise Initiative (GSEI) will host a conversation with Dan Helfrich (F'98, MBA'99), federal government services leader, Deloitte Consulting LLP, to illuminate how you can innovate and drive change while working at Deloitte.
Helfrich is responsible for leading Deloitte’s 8,000 plus federal practice employees as they work with federal government agencies to transform them into more efficient, effective organizations. In addition, he writes and speaks on topics of government innovation, customer experience in government, and the future of the government workforce. He will be speaking with GSEI Executive Director Leslie Crutchfield.

This Earth Day, April 22, 2017, join the Sustainable Oceans Alliance & McCourt E&E at the Third Annual Sustainable Oceans Summit! We will examine the ways in which individuals can facilitate positive change through entrepreneurship, activism, lifestyle choices, media, and art. With a focus on Millennial engagement, our summit’s theme of making the ocean “famous," is designed to make marine environmental threats a mainstream concern.
We will have keynote speakers who are leaders in climate change, ocean conservation, the private sector, pop culture and more. We will have engaging breakout sessions on environmental justice, environmental leadership in business, communications, political organizing, and more in order to provide a hands-on opportunity for all attendees.

Ms. Liftman is responsible for all global environmental sustainability activities at Bank of America, including business strategy and climate finance activities, operational initiatives, philanthropic, employee engagement and policy and governance. In conversation with GSEI Executive Director Leslie Crutchfield, Ms. Liftman will discuss how Bank of America is helping to accelerate the transition to a low-carbon economy through its financial and intellectual capital. She will also address key environmental trends and innovative solutions she has observed across industries.
